Description

Norwegian public roads administration (NPRA) plans for a new framework agreement regarding purchasing equipment for bicycle traffic data collection. Ahead of the tender competition, to be able to set realistic requirements, we need to know what kind of equipment is available on the market and the price range. We need equipment for bicycle traffic data collection on roads with two different types of traffic composition: A: Road traffic data collection equipment for bicycle traffic on roads 1,5 - 4 m. On these roads there will be bidirectional bicycle traffic, e-scooters and pedestrians (with strollers, on roller skis, skateboards etc.). B: Road traffic data collection equipment for bidirectional bicycle traffic on roads with mixed traffic (bicycle and motor vehicle traffic). In practice this is both dedicated bicycles lanes on a road with motor vehicles, or bicycles on the same road as motor vehicles, with no dedicated lane.
