Die AWIGO GmbH ("AWIGO") ist eine mittelbar ausschließlich vom Landkreis Osnabrück gehaltene Beteiligung, die für den Landkreis die Erfüllung öffentlich-rechtlicher Entsorgungspflichten sowie sonstige Entsorgungsleistungen und jeweils alle hiermit im Zusammenhang stehenden Dienstleistungen übernommen hat. Für die rund 360.000 Einwohner in 34 Städten, Gemeinden und Samtgemeinden ist sie zuständig für die Organisation der öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgung. Dabei handelt es sich um verschiedenste Abfallströme, insbesondere Restmüll-, Papier-, Bio- und Leichtverpackungsabfall. Es ist beabsichtigt, für den Standort in Ankum einen Radlader zu beschaffen. Dieser Radlader soll Grünabfälle zusammenschieben, die Abfälle, sowie Humus, Mulch und Grünschnitt in Container oder Walking-Floor-LKW`s verladen und Aufbereitungsanlagen mit verschiedene Materialien befüllen. Der Abschluss eines Wartungsvertrages über 48 Monate ist zwingend als Option mit anzubieten, mit Möglichkeit der Verlängerung um weitere 12 Monate.
