Roboter-assisiterte Chirurgie stellt die konsequente Weiterentwicklung der Laparoskopie dar. Mit dem System ist es möglich komplexe Majorchirurgie minimalinvasiv durchzuführen. Es führt zu medizinisch verbesserten Behandlung, besseren Ergebnisse, kürzerer Liegedauer und ist ein absoluter Auswahlpunkt für Patienten im Rahmen der Krankenhauswahl. Ohne die Beschaffung des OP-Roboters, ist eine weitere Steigerung des Systems nicht möglich. Dadurch würden Patienten verloren gehen.
