Description
Aanleiding van deze aanbesteding is het aflopen van het contract voor beheer en onderhoud (B&O) van het Gladheid Meld Systeem (GMS) op 15 april 2025. Het GMS is verouderd en zal op termijn geheel vervangen worden door een nieuw systeem. Het B&O contract moet de (functionele) instandhouding van het GMS borgen, totdat dit vervangen is door het nieuwe Road Weather Information System (RWIS). Het aantal te onderhouden operationele GMS-meetstations zal in de contractperiode daarom afgebouwd worden. Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) bepaalt wanneer en welke operationele GMS-meetstations tijdens de contractperiode uit het contract gaan. voor nadere informatie zie de Aanbestedingsleidraad. Bij aanvang van de overeenkomst 325 GMS-Meetstations. Zie ook de aanbestedingsleidraad.
