Entreprenaden omfattar avfallsinsamlingen inom entreprenadområde 2, vilket är cirka 50 % av Malmö stad. Entreprenaden omfattar hämtning och transport av avfall under kommunalt ansvar och därmed jämförligt avfall från annan verksamhet, enligt den definition som förekommer i miljöbalken. Entreprenaden avser hämtning av restavfall och matavfall i kärl från bostäder med gemensam hämtning (flerbostadshus och liknande) samt verksamheter.
