Die Gemeinde Halstenbek schreibt Mittagessen für die Grund- und Gemeinschaftsschule an der Bek (Los 1), das Wolfgang-Borchert-Gymnasium (Los 2) und die Grundschule Bickbargen (Los 3) aus. Alle Schulen verfügen baulich über reine Ausgabeküchen. Somit ist nur das Warmhalteverfahren Cook & Hold möglich. Es soll ein Free-Flow-System angeboten werden.
