Description
L’objectif général de cette Assistance Technique (AT) au Bénin est de renforcer les capacités techniques et managériales du Promoteur (Société de Gestion des Déchets et de la Salubrité (SGDS)). Plus précisément, cette AT supportera le promoteur dans l’exploitation des ouvrages financés par la Banque. Les principaux objectifs de cette AT peuvent se résumer comme suit : Appuyer la SGDS dans sa stratégie à augmenter le taux des matières recyclées et la valorisation énergétique dans les villes ciblées par le projet. L'objectif global du projet est d'assurer la transition d'une économie linéaire (collecte, transfert et élimination des déchets) vers une économie circulaire en mettant l'accent sur la ségrégation à la source et la valorisation des déchets recyclables et biodégradables.
