Description

Politiets fellestjenester (PFT), hereafter called the contracting authority, shall, on behalf of the National ID Centre (NID), enter into a contract for the procurement of a SaaS system for archiving and case handling. NID is a professional independent expert body administratively subject to the National Police Directorate (POD). One of the core assignments of NID is to conduct third-line investigations of ID, travel and documentation in immigration cases and other cases related to identity complaints on behalf of various external contracting authorities, including police districts, UDI, UNE, NAV and the state manager. NID operates the largest document laboratory in Norway within the mentioned case categories and processes a large number of documents that shall be genuinely assessed at a third line level. Through assistance and advice, NID shall strengthen the work of clarifying the identities of foreigners who come to, or stay in Norway. .
