Description
De C-pier op Schiphol ondergaat de komende jaren een grootschalige vernieuwing. De huidige C-pier voldoet op termijn niet meer aan de service die Schiphol passagiers wil bieden, de vereiste operationele prestaties en de duurzaamheidsambities van de luchthaven. De pier, waar vandaan reizigers naar Europese bestemmingen vliegen, wordt daarom volledig vervangen en opnieuw opgebouwd. Passagierservaring, duurzaamheid en flexibiliteit zijn de belangrijkste uitgangspunten voor de vernieuwing. De verwachting is dat passagiers in 2032 gebruikmaken van de nieuwe faciliteiten. Door middel van deze aanbesteding kunnen belangstellende architectenbureaus meedingen naar de opdracht van de architect van de nieuwe C-Pier.
