Description
Het ASWF-project is gestart om de ASW-Fregatten van de Nederlandse en Belgische marine te vervangen. De taak van de ASWF is het beschermen van maritieme operatiegebieden en transportroutes via zee tegen oppervlakte-, onderwater- en luchtdreigingen, met een focus op onderwaterdreigingen. Dit subproject betreft het interne en externe communicatiesysteem dat op de ASWF geïnstalleerd zal worden, alsook de integratie van deze apparatuur. De communicatiesuite zal de uitwisseling van informatie tussen boordgebruikers mogelijk maken, evenals de communicatieverbindingen tussen boordgebruikers en externe gebruikers (andere schepen, vliegtuigen en kuststations).
