Description
The Department of Biological Sciences intends to procure an autoclave for autoclaving aqueous solutions in open containers (various buffers, growth media, agar media, sea water etc.), and solid materials (including various glass and plastic equipment) for use in research laboratories. The autoclave shall also be used for autoclaving biological waste such as bacteria and yeast cultures (infection risk group 1). See Annex 1 for further information.
