Hankinnan kohteena on terveyden- ja sairaanhoitopalveluiden tuottaminen ostopalveluna Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialueen toimipisteiden äkilliseen ja lyhytaikaiseen lähihoitaja- ja sairaanhoitajapalvelun tarpeeseen. Ostopalvelulla korvataan vakituisen henkilöstön ennakoimattomien ja yllättävien poissaolojen aiheuttamaa henkilökuntavajetta. Äkillistä ostopalvelua voidaan tarvita äkillisesti lähihoitajien ja sairaanhoitajien arkipäivien aamu-, ilta- ja yö työvuoroihin.
