Description
GENERAL National Land Survey of Finland (hereafter "NLS") is planning to tender aerial imaging services with related data processing services for three operational seasons, more specifically for years 2024 - 2026. The combined area of target sites is about 70 000 km2 per year 2024 and 60 000 km2 per years 2025 and 2026 each. The ground sampling distance (GSD, pixel size in ground units) of the image data is 30 cm. NLS is acting as a national expertise organization regarding procurement and processing of aerial imaging data. NLS also provides procurement services for its partner organizations, taking care of aerial imaging services acquisition from industry vendors. NLS is also responsible for all payments to the industry vendors. Moreover, NLS takes care of quality assessment and quality control of aerial image data delivered by the industry vendors. Imaging data, which is the target of the procurement at hand, is being used at NLS for updating databases and web services.
