Description
Het Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen (UMCG) wenst voor de Intensive Care Neonatologie (ICN) en Intensive Care Kindergeneeskunde (ICK) Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) in te zetten voor continue, non-invasieve monitoring van regionale zuurstofsaturatie (rSO₂) bij neonaten en kinderen. De NIRS-sensor meet via nabij-infrarood licht de balans tussen zuurstofaanvoer en -verbruik in vitale organen, wat essentieel is voor het tijdig herkennen van perfusie- en oxygenatiestoornissen bij deze kwetsbare patiëntengroep. De huidige NIRS-apparatuur, sinds 2005 in gebruik, is volledig geïntegreerd in de zorgprocessen op de ICN en ICK. Nu het bestaande contract afloopt en continue beschikbaarheid van gevalideerde NIRS-metingen noodzakelijk blijft voor veilige en hoogwaardige zorg, is een nieuwe overeenkomst vereist.
