Description
Afdeling Cluster Beheer is eigenaar/beheerder van de gemeentelijke bomen van gemeente Leiden. Vanuit deze functie rol heeft zij een wettelijke zorgplicht voor het inspecterende zorg van haar bomen. Inspecteren van de bomen is daar een onderdeel van. Voor het inspecteren van bomen wil de gemeente gebruik maken van een gespecialiseerd inspectiebureau, die bekend is met de BVC-methodiek (BoomVeiligheidsControle) zoals beschreven staat in het Handboek Bomen van het norminstituut bomen. 70.000 bomen
