Description

. The project consists of 4 outputs: - Output 1 aims to address recommendations on the policy level on topics such as decar-bonization, circular economy, traceability or transparency and data collection. Based on these discussions, policy recommendations are supposed to be drafted and agreed upon. - Output 2 aims at operational level to support authorities such as the Export Promotion Bu-reau (EPB) and the Department of Environment (DoE) in the development and implemen-tation of policy instruments to strengthen the readiness for EU sustainability requirements. - Ouput 3, which relates to the core of the present tender, aims to support the textile and garment industry in implementing climate mitigation measures. The assumption is that car-bon accounting and climate mitigation measures are currently most relevant for more expe-rienced direct suppliers, who are members of the export-oriented associations (Tier 1). - Output 4 aims to promoting mechanisms through which textile and garment industry work-ers, especially women, can advocate for gender equality in their work and living environ-ments.
