Description

The work to be realized for this tender, will be realized in the context of two projects: The overall project is the BMZ project "Sustainable Energy and Climate Change Adaptation for Resilience" (SECCAR), that is co-financed by the EU, supports Libya to adapt to Climate Change and expand sustainable energies (Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Green Hydrogen). The project aims to improve the regulatory, institutional, and technological conditions for Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) with a special focus on water and agriculture. SECCAR advises the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Water, and the Ministry of Agriculture with its subordinate institutions to analyse climate risks, to develop a national and sectoral adaptation strategies, and to access international climate finance, with the final outcome being a National Adaptation Plan for Libya, as well as clearly defined adaptation goals for the National Determined Contributions (NDC).
