Description

The project "Qualitative Growth for Employment" is part of the cooperation programme "Promotion of the Private Sector and Development of the Financial System" is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) and aims to improve the employment situation of the Tunisian population through a competitive and sustainable private sector, a deepened financial sector and adequate public and private support structures. The project falls under the BMZ core area "Sustainable economic development, training and employment" and contributes to the objectives of the Tunisian-German Partnership for Reforms as well as to the initiative "Marshall Plan with Africa" by supporting reforms to improve economic framework conditions. The objective of the project is to "modernise Tunisian industry in terms of economic and ecological sustainability in priority sectors".
