Description
Fingrid Oyj, the Finnish national transmission system operator, is initiating a procurement process for 400kV 100MVar and 20 kV 50 Mvar capacitor banks with the intended deliveries between 2026-2027 to eleven different substations in various locations in Finland. With this prequalification (short PQ) Fingrid is looking for capable and interested suppliers of capacitor banks and reactors. In our operating model, the network of service and goods suppliers and good co-operation with suppliers are especially important. We require our contractual partners who supply us with services or goods to be aware of Fingrid’s significant social duty and to commit to responsibility for the economic, social and environmental effects of their operations.The delivery consists tentatively of 8 pieces 400kV 100Mvar and 20 pieces 20 kV 50 Mvar shunt capacitor banks with damping reactors. The delivery includes all components needed for fully functional capacitor bank as capacitor units, racks, insulators, conductors, capacitor unbalance current transformers, support structures and pedestals.
