Description

OUS shall procure 1 ultrasound apparatus for ortho/neuro anaesthesia, particularly suitable for nerve blockers. The ultrasound apparatus shall be used for several different assignments within emergency medicine of adults, children and infants, but must be particularly well suited for superficial and deep peripheral nerve blockers as well as neuroaxial blockades. Visualisation of columna (epidural room/paravertebral room) and intercostal is particularly important. It will be used by doctors in the department and in training. The ultrasound apparatus must be robust and tolerate rapid moving and handling in acute situations.
