Description
The Danish Road Directorate is planning to put to tender a framework agreement on delivery on special seeds as an element in increasing the biodiversity along the national roads. The expected delivery will be about 800 kg for the harvest season 2024, about 1000 kg for the harvest season 2025 and about 300 kg for the harvest season 2026. The delivery is expected to start in October 2024. The estimated value is 5 – 10 mio. kr. The seeds will be used on two infrastructure projects for E45, the East Jutland Highway, where sowing of special seeds will support the biodiversity. The framework agreement will include handling and storage of the seeds until delivery, and preparation of a yearly note describing the experience with the deliveries.
