Veiligheidsregio Utrecht (VRU) beschikt momenteel over 4-gasmeters in al haar operationele voertuigen. Deze meters worden voornamelijk gebruikt voor het bewaken van de persoonlijke veiligheid van het brandweerpersoneel. Naast deze toepassing worden de meters ook ingezet voor het controleren van de risico’s voor de omgeving. De meters zijn geschikt voor het meten van explosiegevaar, zuurstofconcentratie, koolmonoxide en waterstofsulfide concentratie. €
