Das Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz führt eine epidemiologische Kohortenstudie mit ca. 64.000 ehemaligen Beschäftigten der Firma Wismut durch. Alle fünf Jahren werden die Daten der Kohortenmitglieder (Vitalstatus und ggf. Todesursache) in einem Mortalitäts-Follow-up aktualisiert.
