Description
Service description: GTK is planning to have a 2D seismic survey across the Kuusamo Schist Belt in northern Finland (see the enclosed map and shapefiles in Appendices 2 and 3) during the May-September 2025 and hereby invites competent companies to tender for the Survey. The Survey aims to acquire seismic data to image the crust down to approximately 10 km depth. The scope and objective of the public contract are the following (Survey to be provided): The invitation to tender is for a 2D seismic survey (data acquisition and data processing). The Tenderers are requested to give a proposal for the Survey schedule during 2025. The entire service, including processed data, needs to be delivered latest 15th of December 2025 and invoiced after the acceptance of the delivery before 31st of December 2025. GTK shall have the right to reduce or enlarge the length of the specified seismic profiles by 3% after signing of the final contract due to e.g. restrictions related to permitting.
