Description
In the area of relational databases, the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication FOITT has been strategically relying on the PostgreSQL open source system for several years. It is offered as a market service to other federal offices and organisational units of the public administration. In this respect, the FOITT assumes the role of a service provider and makes the managed cloud service available for self-service use. An open tender is intended to enable the use and deployment of a suitable PostgreSQL operator, including full documentation, and to ensure external support. In this way, it will be possible for PostgreSQL to continue to be operated reliably to high quality standards, and for the DevOps team to have prompt access to expert knowledge in the event of an error.
