Description
Het voorwerp van deze opdracht kadert binnen de aankoop van een geautomatiseerd, high-throughput live cell imaging platform. Hieronder verstaan we een widefield en confocale live cell imager dat geconnecteerd is via een robotische arm met een automatische incubator. De confocale live cell imager heeft als doel om te worden gebruikt voor het beeldvormen (2D en 3D structuren) van zowel gefixeerde als levende stalen. Een geautomatiseerde, gemotoriseerde confocale microscoop met een gebruiksvriendelijk karakter, heeft een sterke voorkeur. Het automatisatie gedeelte binnen deze aankoop (robotische arm en automatische incubator) heeft als doel om geautomatiseerde beeldvorming met de live cell imager die hierboven beschreven is, alsook onze huidige live cell imager (Tecan SparkCyto), te integreren in één robotisch screeningsplatform. Dit automatisatie deel bestaat uit een centrale incubator die stalen kan voeden in beide imaging systemen d.m.v. een robotarm.
