Description
De Universiteit Antwerpen wenst een geautomatiseerd spray coater aan te kopen. Dit toestel dient ons in staat te stellen om op een gecontroleerde en reproduceerbare manier suspensies (al dan niet waterig) van katalysatoren en hun ionomeer binder te sproeien op (koolstof-gebaseerde) gas diffusie elektroden. Achteraf zullen deze gecoate elektrodes dan gebruikt worden als actieve component om verscheidene elektrochemische reacties (bv. CO2 reductie, water splitsing, enz.) uit te voeren in onze elektrochemische flow reactoren. Dit onderzoek valt ook binnen de ambities van BlueApp met betrekking tot de opschaling van de elektrochemische reactoren ontwikkeld binnen ELCAT tot een hoger TRL.
