Details of the construction project - General description: The Federal Republic of Germany is planning to build a new chancery and residence for the German Embassy in Canberra, Australia. There are currently buildings on the site erected in 1958. Demolition and new construction of the chancellery and renovation or partial preservation of the residence building are considered to be the most sustainable and economical solution. The project is to be realised in accordance with Australian norms, planning and construction standards, as well as Australian contracts, without comparison (synopsis) with German norms and standards. In addition, implementation is planned in accordance with the Australian Green Star rating system with a target of 6 stars.
